Mayor’s Charity Event

This Thursday, 20th June, as part of the Mayor of Southend’s Charity, there is a Queen Vic lunch at the Gleneagles Guest House with a ploughman’s lunch and a glass of wine or a soft drink.

12.00pm for 12.30pm start. £15 per person

By attending you will be supporting the Mayor’s Charity for 2019, Southend on Sea RNLI.

Southend RNLI calls out for votes to bag a share of Tesco’s community fund

YOU can help Southend RNLI just by placing your TESCO token every time you shop.

Southend RNLI are bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 awarded to local community projects.

Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

Southend RNLI is one of the groups on the shortlist and are bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
